I received this email today from “DHL Manager Daryl Hadley”
Hello!
The courier company was not able to deliver your parcel by your address.
Cause: Error in shipping address.
You may pickup the parcel at our post office personaly!
Attention!
The shipping label is attached to this e-mail. Please print this label to get this package at our post office.
Please do not reply to this e-mail, it is an unmonitored mailbox!
Thank you.
DHL Delivery Services.
When I tried to open the attachment yahoo displayed a message “Virus detected” by Norton AntiVirus.
The sender’s address appears to be genuine, doesn’t it? Yet it isn’t safe. If it wasn’t for the AntiVirus program! *faints*
You’ve got to be careful when opening email attachments.
BTW has anyone of you received this mail?

I just right an article on it today. I also get similar message but from a courier service. I think it is always good to make a search on email subject or on email sender on search engine before opening any link or attachment from unknown provider even from trusted domain.

Neither did I. But I was just curious. Luckily the antivirus detected it before I downloaded the attachment.

I make it a rule not to open attachments from people I don’t know for this very reason. Scammers will do anything to try and get your personal information.

I try hard not to open unknown attachments. But sometimes I give in to my curiosity. Oh how I would regret if this had caused me to lose something.

It’s all another email scam that uses malware to gain access to your private details. Stay clear of those and NEVER open them!
