Plant a seed – Create Buzz
I’ve signed up to a new blog promotion site called Seeded buzz recently. I stumbled upon it by sheer chance really. I was just googling without any intention of finding something. I sometimes just google random words or phrases to see what results are displayed, or sometimes if I’m just feeling bored and at a loss of ideas.
I put in the words “Blog Promotion” and the sponsored result displayed was Seeded Buzz and I just decided to check it out, giving in to my curiosity. On reading through the faq’s page I realised that its actually a service that connects bloggers. Really, how this site really works is you submit a post that is referred to as planting a seed. Then someone else who finds your post interesting would post something similar on their own blog and also link to your post. Thus creating a buzz about your post and that would help your post get more exposure. Also its good to create links to your blog to get more readers to your blog.
When you start off you get 2 seeds so you can submit 2 posts that others may create buzz about for you. To get more seeds you can either create a buzz for others or you also have the option of buying seeds. I’m don’t think too many people would consider buying a seed as planting a seed does not guarantee that it will be buzzed. It really depends on the quality of the post, and the seed you plant.
I’ve just planted my first seed so far about the WordPress Mobile Plugins Review post. I’m hoping the response will be good. If things go well I would also consider creating buzz about other people’s posts.
Well if you like the idea of promoting other people’s blogs by having a discussion on similar topics on your own blog, then this the perfect place to network with other bloggers.
P.S. If you choose to sign up please use selurus as the invite code.

Sounds like something that could come in handy. I like the idea of planting seeds as that implies something will grow from it and one can only hope it’s traffic.

The trick is to plant seeds for posts that others can talk about and connect to on their blogs. That way you’ll get buzzed more and in turn get more links and hopefully more traffic too.

I signed up a few weeks ago. I haven’t really messed with the site. I was trying to figure out how to buzz someone’s work and get credit for it.
Once I figure that I plan on using the site.

Buzzing is simple. You just create a new post on your blog with a similar topic to the seed you’re buzzing and link back to the post. My comment luv link for this comment has my first buzz.
Buzzing works great when you’re looking for a new blog idea too.

Planting seeds that can raise more debates always helps. Lot of people are interested in gossips, arguments, fights etc. Such topics have helped bloggers to get some attention.

Hi I’ve used SeededBuzz a bit (very little to be honest) but it seems like a really good and useful tool … I think they need to reach a certain critical mass and while it is still growing it’s going to take a while to get there.
